Therapy for Moms and Twin Moms — Whether You’re Feeling Stretched Too Thin or Just Not Like Yourself
A place to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself in motherhood.
Does life as a mom feel different than you thought it would?
You love your little one — or your little ones — more than anything. But some days it doesn’t feel the way you hoped it would.
You may feel stretched thin, pulled in every direction, or not quite like yourself. Some days you hold it together until something small pushes you over the edge. Other days it’s pure exhaustion — like moving through fog, just trying to make it until bedtime. And sometimes, even when everything looks “fine” from the outside, inside you feel unsettled, disconnected, or quietly struggling.
And if you’re a twin mom? It’s an experience full of love, but also a level no one else seems to understand — the constant demands, the exhaustion that never seems to let up, and the isolation of a reality so few people truly get.
It makes sense if this feels harder than you imagined — you’ve been carrying so much without enough support.
What if you had a space to put it all down?
Therapy gives you a space to:
Make sense of what you’re feeling
Untangle the guilt and worry
Steady yourself in the chaos
Reconnect with who you are outside of being a mom
Feel more confident in yourself and how you show up as a mom
Meet Kristen
I’m Kristen Eberly — a licensed therapist, mom of three (including twins), and someone who knows firsthand what it’s like to face the exhaustion, pressure, and self-doubt that can come with being a mom. I provide individual therapy for moms and twin moms in California, through secure telehealth sessions, so you can access support without adding another layer of stress to your day.
For over a decade, I’ve specialized in maternal and early childhood mental health. My training in perinatal mood disorders, trauma, and attachment — combined with years of helping families with little ones ages 0–5 — means I understand not only the hard moments, but also the quieter worries that can weigh on you — like feeling disconnected from yourself or wondering if you’re doing enough for your kids.
I bring both expertise and lived experience to this work. My role is to give you the support so many moms are missing — a safe space to untangle what’s been weighing on you, feel steadier day to day, and move toward a version of mom life that feels more confident, more supported, and more connected.
How I Can Support You
Individual Therapy for Moms
Motherhood can be full of joy — and at the same time, more overwhelming than you expected. Whether you’re stretched thin or feeling a quiet disconnection, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and with what matters most.
You might be noticing:
Anxiety that makes it hard to rest or enjoy downtime
Feeling tired no matter how much you sleep
Wondering who you are beyond being “mom”
Snapping, irritability, or even rage that doesn’t feel like you
Nights spent replaying the day with guilt or second-guessing yourself
Feeling overstimulated by constant noise, touch, or demands
Getting through the days, but not really enjoying them the way you thought you would
Therapy offers a place where you don’t have to hold it all in or figure it out alone. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel steadier in yourself, more confident in how you show up as a mom, and more connected to the parts of life and motherhood that matter most to you.
Individual Therapy for Twin Moms
Twin motherhood is a world of its own — and unless you’ve lived it, it’s almost impossible to understand. There’s a special joy in watching your twins grow side by side, and at the same time, raising two children at the same stage can bring constant demands, exhaustion that never seems to let up, and the pressure of trying to meet everyone’s needs all at once.
These challenges can show up in different ways — for some twin moms, it feels intense and consuming, while for others it’s quieter but still draining.
You might be noticing:
Always being pulled in two directions, with little space to catch your breath
Feeling tired no matter how much you sleep
Overstimulation from constant noise, touch, or competing needs
Snapping or irritability that doesn’t feel like you (sometimes even rage)
Guilt that you can’t give enough to either child
A sense of being alone in an experience few people really understand
Getting through the days, but not enjoying them the way you thought you would
Therapy offers a place where your twin experience is understood and you don’t have to carry it all on your own. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel steadier in yourself, more confident in your ability to handle the chaos, and more supported in creating the kind of family life you can enjoy.
